Welcome to Cedar Rock Wood Designs. My furniture and accent pieces are made from wood sourced as locally as my own yard in western North Carolina, to exotic burls from the west coast and beyond.  My style ranges from rustic to art deco, often with a modern flare.

My passion is working with unique pieces of wood that have character and movement, and accentuating those attributes into the overall design of the furniture.  All of my pieces are made with mortise and tenon joinery, high tension screws, and the finest finishes.  My goal is to produce a work of functional art that will bring a lifetime of joy and beauty, and an heirloom piece that will survive the generations.
